I had the most crazy dream before I became pregnant. It involved a very intense encounter with an owl and upon waking from that dream, I knew I was ready to welcome a new little soul into my body and my life. I became pregnant that very cycle.

I like owls too. Great symbol of wisdom. Also the owl is often featured in representations of one of my signature goddessess: Athena/Minerva :)
For my daughter's 2nd birthday we had an owl themed birthday party because we had reached the WHO ("hoo hoo" ;P lol) guidelines of a minimum two years breastfeeding: "And a hoot was had by all"
